Marqus Cole has always been committed to serving his community, and he has the ability and talent to fight for the people of Georgia’s 7th District.

From a young age, Marqus was instilled with a commitment to service. His mother, a retired officer in the United States Army, and father, a school teacher and coach, made sure of it. Marqus has continued his family’s tradition of service as an attorney, providing legal representation to the elderly and impoverished.

Marqus and his wife Amanda were both raised in Georgia. After meeting in law school, they chose to raise their family in Gwinnett County to ensure that their two daughters received a quality education and the love and support of their extended family. Marqus is a small business owner and founding partner of The Cole Law Office, LLC. When he’s not spending time with his wife and children he does pro bono work for Gwinnett Legal Aid and Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation. Marqus is also a member of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party, serving on the executive committee.

Fed up with the political gridlock of Washington DC, Marqus chose to stand up and fight for his neighbors. As a representative, Marqus will work to secure quality healthcare for all people, fight to restore the democratic process by combating voter suppression efforts, and stand up for sensible criminal justice reform that serves the interests of the community. Marqus will stand up and give the people of the 7th district the representation that they deserve.
